RDV technology employs 128-bit point-to-point SSL communication between server and client and a random initializing vector, salt and iteration count generated by the software automatically for each file when encrypting data and is rated for clients with strict security requirements including financial institutions and medical facilities requiring HIPAA compliance.

All data is secured using 128-bit encryption and compression.  Pricing is based on “Compressed GB.” Average compression rate is 4:1, so pricing for 1GB could actually equate to 4GB of uncompressed data depending on the type of data being compressed.
